Also Bacoli will participate in the Music Festival Tuesday 21 June 2022 and the evening will be organized in the suggestive location of Castle of Baia with a free concert in the Piazza d'Armi. The event adds to the many musical events that will also take place in Naples and which include the Malika Ayane concert at Castel Sant'Elmo.
At the Castello di Baia, as said on concert will be open to all, subject to availability and the Aragonese stronghold will be the backdrop to a lineup of classical music that will make us live a dream atmosphere on the beautiful Gulf of Naples where we will also admire Procida, Ischia and Vesuvius.
The evening was organized by the Municipality of Bacoli together with the collaboration of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields.
The evening's program
The great guest will be the international master Lorenzo Pone, a prominent pianist who will make us listen to wonderful music by:
- Beethoven
- Bach, Haydn
- Chopin
- Schubert
The concert was also organized with the collaboration ofNeapolitan Music Academy, directed by maestro Massimo Fargnoli who has already been artistic director of the Scarlatti Orchestra of the Rai in Naples.
Who is the maestro Lorenzo Pone
Lorenzo Pone is an internationally renowned pianist, born in Naples in 1991. He studied at the San Pietro a Majella Conservatory, but then graduated from Mozarteum of Salzburg, city where he currently lives.
In 2019 he received the Saint John's Smith Square Award in London after having obtained the scholarship offered to him by Prince Charles of England for a one-year training course at the Royal College of Music.
Harry Saltzman of the New York Times says of him that "to date, no pianist of his generation can return such an unforgettable Mozart".
