Via Andrea Doria in Fuorigrotta

Tragedy in Fuorigrotta, a person throws acid from the balcony and hits a Roma child.

Chaos in the neighborhood of Fuorigrotta. The crowd has thickened near via Andrea Doria where it has just consumed one tragedy. As we write the police he is still there and tries to reconstruct what happened. Apparently, a person, at the moment still unknown, threw one dried up of acid from a window and hit one rom child, a year and a half, who was passing under the palace.

We are located near the civic 22 and we do not yet know if the gesture was intentional or was it a tremendous chance generated, in any case, by a more than reckless gesture. From the first testimonies of the gas station attendant in the area, it seems that the event is not isolated, but that something similar has also happened in the past.

Updates

From the first reconstructions, it was found that the affected child was actually a one and a half year old boy. Contrary to what the first rumors said, the mother did not flee after the incident, but took her son to a nearby pharmacy, from where 118 was then called. The child suffered burns to the face, skull and upper limbs.

In the following hours, some mothers of the neighborhood parked under the balcony from which the acid was thrown and railed against the condominiums of the building.

Moreover, it seems that several times from that building objects or liquids were launched, at least according to what some witnesses have declared.
