Il City of Naples has set a date to start removing blue and white banners from city streets. In a recent meeting held a Palazzo San Giacomo, it was established that these operations of removal, scheduled to take place both day and night, will have start June 12th, taking off from Municipality 10 and a calendar of all the others will then be drawn up.
Who takes care of the removal of the banners
An interdisciplinary work team, including various municipal offices and representatives of affiliated companies and utilities, was formed to evaluate the priorities reported by the various municipalities and plan a schedule of interventions based on the most pressing needs.
The Mayor Gaetano Manfredi he expressed his appreciation for the citizens, associations and fans who are already mobilizing voluntarily to support this project, while also providing a system organized by the local government to manage these efforts.
As for the posters attached to the impianti of public lighting, the company in charge, Edisonwill take care of the removal. For those set in public green areas, Naples Services will take care of the operations. Local Police officers will support companies in the most complex and dangerous operations.
How and where to dispose of banners
For the correct disposal of banners removed from private sites, it is necessary that citizens take them exclusively to ifixed ecological sun. The list and opening hours of these facilities are available on the Asia website at asianapoli.it/islands-ecological/fisse.
Furthermore, Asia is organizing a series of "mobile" ecological islands supplements to facilitate the collection of materials to be recycled in the various points of the city. They underline how the participation of the citizens of Naples allows to accelerate the return to normality of the city streets, reducing the potential risk represented by the banners if left exposed to the elements for an extended period of time.
