The one hundred year anniversary ofair Force Italian will be celebrated through a large event's audience to be held in various squares of Italy, including the renowned Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples. This celebration will include the oath and baptism of Corso Drago VI of the Aeronautical Academy of Pozzuoli and will take place on Wednesday 5 April 2023 From 7: 00 to 13: 00.

The history of the Frecce Tricolori

La National Acrobatic Patrol, better known as PAN, was incorporated in 1961 by the Air Force Staff with the aim of creating an air formation specifically dedicated to aerobatic training.

The PAN, also known as "Frecce Tricolori“, represents the most numerous and spectacular aerobatic training in the world, with its pilots performing spectacular stunts that fly across the skies around the world. The training consists of best Italian pilots, and is an expression of national values ​​and a passion for flying, as well as an example of professionalism, self-denial, esprit de corps and sense of discipline.

The oath and baptism of Corso Drago VI of the Aeronautical Academy of Pozzuoli

On the occasion of the centennial, the oath will be held and the baptism of Corso Drago VI of the Pozzuoli Air Force Academy. The ceremony will be presided over by the highest officials of the Armed Force, of the Defense and of the Institutions of the Republic, as well as by the local authorities and by the students of the 1st class of the regular courses of the Aeronautical Academy.
