Napoli 100, the Centenary of the Azzurri invades the city on August 1st

The centenary of SSC Napoli will be celebrated with a huge, widespread celebration that will transform the heart of the Campania capital into an open-air stage on August 1st. The event, entitled Naples 100, is organized by the Club in co-organization with the City of Naples , Campania region, and features a rich program of events combining sports, music, art, and tradition. Access to all activities is free, with registration required only for the official ceremony in Piazza del Plebiscito.

The Napoli 100 program: from sunset to blue night

The celebrations will start at 19:26 da Piazza Carità, a symbolic place linked to the first headquarters of Napoli. The official opening will be marked by simultaneous ringing of the bells of a hundred churches of the city, a call that will cross the entire metropolitan area. Immediately afterwards, a spectacular Blue Smoke will start the Blue Procession, a procession of artists and figures that will travel about a kilometer through the city center: from Piazza Carità to Via Toledo, then Via Santa Brigida, Via Verdi, Via San Carlo, Piazza Trieste e Trento until Piazza del PlebiscitoOne hundred actors, one hundred musicians, and one hundred children will enliven the procession with a tale that begins with the myth of Partenope and the origins of Naples, explores the vocation for the encounter between different cultures, touches on forms of popular devotion, and concludes with the masks and symbolic characters of the Neapolitan imagination. The music, the common thread throughout the entire procession, will be inspired by some of the songs that have brought Naples to the world, creating an atmosphere that promises to emotionally engage everyone present.

Centennial Pizza Village and Official Ceremony

From 20:26, Piazza Municipio will transform into Centenary Pizza Village, a free space dedicated to entertainment and gastronomy. In collaboration with its partners, SSC Napoli will offer thousands of slices of Margherita pizza and drinks, paying homage to one of the city's most authentic and recognized symbols worldwide. The initiative also includes the donation of pizzas to those in the most vulnerable conditions, thanks to the support of the Campania Food Bank. Large screens and a dedicated sound system will allow the public to follow the Centennial Ceremony live from Piazza Municipio. 20:45in Piazza del Plebiscito, the official ceremony will begin. Blue Night: fireworks display and music

From 22:30, at the end of the Ceremony, the Notte Azzurra powered by EnelWith a gesture from the stage, the city will simultaneously light up in blue: Royal Palace, Maschio Angioino, Palazzo San Giacomo, Castel dell'Ovo and Castel Sant'Elmo will be illuminated by the Centenary colors, redrawing the monumental profile of the gulf. The lighting will kick off a great Light show and a synchronized fireworks display between Piazza del Plebiscito and Castel dell'Ovo. An original soundtrack will accompany the show, intertwining music, images, and the voices that have recounted some of the most iconic moments in SSC Napoli's history. The celebrations will continue with a DJ set in Piazza del Plebiscito, celebrating the first century of the Azzurri's history and symbolically inaugurating the next hundred years.

How to participate and useful information

Access to Piazza del Plebiscito will be allowed upon request Free registration on the TicketOne platform, starting from Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 15:00 PM, until seats are filled. The gates will open at 18:45 pm and will be accessible only from the side of Piazza Trieste and TrentoThe public is invited to arrive at the area well in advance to facilitate entry and security checks.
