Tenth edition event Naples Bike Festival, the appointment with the event that celebrates more sustainable mobility is for Sunday 19 September 2021, at Mostra D'Oltremare in Naples, particularly in the Garden of the Cedars.
From 10:00 to 20:00 you can participate in interesting lessons of cyclomechanics, Street Art, Bike Academy Open Day, workshops, debates, exhibitions, expositive spaces and much more in the program.
The program of the tenth edition
September 18th
On the eve of the festival that celebrates the patron saint of the city of Naples, San Gennaro and the Naples Bike Festival, from 19:00 one special musical aperitif in the Bicycle House thanks to the Dj set of San Gennaro Bar, aka Dario Cervo, at 19.00.
He is a unique beautiful sounding musician who draws inspiration from all the places he has visited during his travels.
September 19th
At 09:00 instead, the Naples Bike Festival with the #Pedaloper inaugural ride which will start from the Bicycle House of Galleria Principe di Napoli. Pedaling all together you will reach the final destination, that is the Mostra d'Oltremare, in the Garden of the Cedars, starting all the activities that are scheduled.
All participants are invited to bring a bell or a musical instrument to make the sound heard sound of change. At the Bicycle House you can rent the bisi and the route is 10 km and suitable for everyone.
The other events will take place from 10.00 to 20.00 and there will also be the reopening of the exhibition area with world leading brandsie you can do tests on muscle bikes, pedal assisted bikes, scooters, cargo bikes, tandems, folding bikes, accessories, clothing.
At the Mostra d'Oltremare, visitors will be welcomed by the great work of street art by Antonio Tempesta, the largest among those inspired by the bicycle.
There will also be many events for children such as treasure hunt by bike, the bike license, the open day of the cycling and mountain bike school, readings in a low voice with stories of bikes, shows and street artists and a biketour for children with disabilities.
The program also includes book presentations such as the comic book that narrates the Margherita Hack's relationship with the stars and the bike, in collaboration with Comicon. Yes also of the cycle route of the parks of Calabria, of a contest of cycle travelers and there will be the bike speaker corner.
Of course, the workshop including the now famous one on the ciclofficina, the origami workshops inspired by bicycles, the creative workshop in collaboration with Davide Carnevale, Ambassador of the Third Paradise Michelangelo Pistoletto Foundation. The wokshop with the Bike Lab of dr. Di Micco, on the secrets of biomechanics and correct posture to keep on a bike.
Food and picnic area
Inside the Mostra d'Oltremare there will be food and picnic areas to relax throughout the day. Moreover, they will be able to rent bicycles and participate in the bike ride in the exhibition to get to know the monumental plants and trees, but also the archaeological and architectural areas.
