Naples City Half Marathon 2018 from the seafront to the Mostra D'Oltremare through the heart of the city
The Naples City Half Marathon 2018 is back for the fifth edition with a spectacular route between the waterfront and the historic center.
Sunday February 4 2018 the fifth edition of the Naples City Half Marathon organized by Napoli Running which represents the event of half marathon with more members in Southern Italy to which this year will be added the 3 February 2018 the Family Run and Friends, non-competitive open to everyone. The February 4 will also take place on first Grand Prix of the City of Naples, competitive speed race open to both men and women over a distance of 5 km.
The half marathon, IAAF / AIMS certified, will unfold from Viale Kennedy to the Historical Center, passing the Lungomare and Piazza del Plebiscito for a total of 21.097 km and will be able to host about 6000 athletes. Instead the Family Run will have a distance of 2 km around the Mostra D'Oltremare.
The marathon will be broadcast on the 4 February on Fox Sports, 204 channel of Sky, from 10.10 to 11.45. Furthermore, a temporary traffic device.
How to sign up
For the Half Marathon theregistration must be completed online (we left in the mirror the direct link) and the registration fee includes:
- bib and chip for the classification
- starting bag
- points of sponge and refreshment every 5 km
- participation medal
- bag storage service and indoor changing rooms
- diploma of participation
- free public transport on the day of the race
- Napoli Running Magazine
The registration fee varies between 30 and 35 euro depending on the number of people registered (at the time when this article is published the registrations do not exceed 5000 people, making the registration fee in the 30 euro fall). For the subscribers there will be the opportunity to purchase sports equipment at discounted prices, thanks to the sponsors of the race.
For the Family Run and Friends it will be possible register online, at the same link of the Half Marathon or you can complete the registration directly to the expo set up at the Mediterranean theater inside the Mostra D'Oltremare.
