Manifesto of Comicon 2020 in Naples: the signature of Bastien Vivès

At the Mostra D'Oltremare in Naples a new appointment is renewed with the Comicon: here is the poster for the 2020 edition!

From 30 April at the 3 May 2020 (postponed to the end of June and the beginning of July) the fantastic appointment with the Comicon to the Fiera D'Oltremare in Naples.

Like all years, the International Comic Strip Show will feature a poster completely original created specifically for the event and which will have the purpose of representing the current edition.

This year's poster artist is Bastien Vives, French cartoonist awarded at the Angoulême Comics Festival and author of graphic novels such as Il gusto del chlorine and Polina.

Bastien has a special relationship with Naples which dates back to 2009 with "Naples. Author's looks“, Comic anthology in which he realizes one of the reportages inspired by the artist residencies project curated by COMICON with Dargaud and Tunué.

In poster created specifically for Comicon 2020, Bastien wants to focus on the historical period we are experiencing, an age of entertainment that no one can give up.

The temptation of Eden

A poster that recalls the temptation in Eden, in fact in the center there is an imposing one tempter god of pop culture, which with a big smile welcomes the two figures of Adam and Eve, which become symbols of the modern generation, defenseless in the face of temptations.
