A tribute to the cinema of Italian and international quality: this will be the Naples Film Festival 2013, with projections in the Chiaia district
Return to live in Chiaia, after 7 years of absence from the neighborhood, the Naples Film Festival, sought after film collection that aims to project the best films of Italian and international cinema. From 30th September to 6th Octoberin fact, the works of directors such as will be proposed Buñuel, Fellini, Lubitsch and Bigas Luna.
Quality cinema, therefore, that will have its headquarters in 4 international reality in the city: the films will be screened at the cinema Metropolitan, at the University Sister Orsola Benincasa, In 'Institut Français Naples and in 'Cervantes Institute, new entry this year. The Spanish cultural institute, in fact, had not yet joined the festival, but this year it will enrich the varied cinematographic and cultural reality of Naples.
The Festival is now in its 26th edition and will be opened on September XNUMX with a preview entirely dedicated to the great Roman actress Anna Magnani, with screenings at the Institut Français. The actress passed away on September 26, 1973 and, after 40 years, we want to pay homage to her memory.
From September 30 onwards, however, there will be space for the feature films by Luis Buñuel, Federico Fellini, Ernest Lubitsch and Bigas Luna and emphasis will also be given to documentary. In fact, among the guests there will be Vincent Dieutre and Vincenzo Marra who will present some of their works while also meeting the public. Also present was Giovanni Cioni with a seminar that will be called “Topographies”.
While waiting to get to know the other guests in the "Close encounters“, The works selected for the Europe-Mediterranean, Screen Napoli Doc, Courts, School and PHOTOgrams competitions were chosen.
