Naples: Mergellina and Chiaia Funicular closes early from October 9th to 12th.

ANM has communicated temporary changes to the service of Mergellina and Chiaia funiculars for scheduled maintenance work. The changes concern early closing times and the activation of a replacement bus service. The changes are valid from Wednesday, October 9th until Sunday, October 12th, 2025 Included. Mergellina Funicular Timetable and Changes

From 9th to 12th October, the funicular of Mergellina will carry out thelast run at 14: 10.
From 14: 00 to 20: 00 the replacement shuttle service 621, having a frequency of 40 minutes between departures.
The bus service will ensure connections along the funicular route, allowing passengers to reach the main intermediate stops.

Changes to the Chiaia funicular

Saturday October 11, 2025, funicular of Chiaia will anticipate the closing at 22:00 pm.
No changes are planned for the days before and after, during which the service will maintain its usual operating hours.
