Naples, changes to traffic for March 15 for Naples Capital of the Mediterranean

In view of the conference “Naples Capital of the Mediterranean: developments and prospects”, expected for Friday March 15, the Municipality of Naples has arranged a series of measures for the management of traffic and parking in the areas involved. The aim is to guarantee public order and safety, while minimizing the impact on city mobility. The restrictions will affect several strategic areas of the city, including via San Carlo, piazza Trieste e Trento and the areas surrounding the US Consulate. Below are details on the changes to traffic and recommendations for citizens.

Parking regulations in via San Carlo and piazza Trieste e Trento

Starting from 07:00 on Friday 15 March and until the needs cease, the prohibition of stopping and parking with forced removal in the following areas:

  • Piazza Trieste and Trento;
  • Via San Carlo.

The only exceptions will be for vehicles equipped with personalized “H” mark, who will be able to use the reserved parking areas.

Restrictions in areas surrounding the US Consulate

For security reasons, from 00:01 on Friday 15 March and until further notice, prohibition of stopping and parking with forced removal will be in force on the following streets:

  • Anton Dohrn Avenue;
  • Viale Gramsci, in the stretch between Republic Square and Galiani Street.

Furthermore, for the entire duration of the measures, it will be TAXI reserved area in Piazza della Repubblica suspended.

Motorists are advised to Pay attention to temporary signs and use alternative routes to avoid inconvenience. The Municipality also invites you to consult the official information channels for any updates on changes to traffic.
