All the info on the program, menu and how to get to the Naples Pizza Village 2016 on the seafront!

From 6 to 11 September 2016 on Lungomare Caracciolo of Naples will take place on Naples Pizza Village, the event dedicated to the culture of pizza and that will transform our beautiful Lungomare in the largest outdoor pizzeria in the world.

They will be prepared for the occasion 50 ovens that will be used by the historic and famous pizzerias of our city, which are also among the best known in the world.
Among the novelties, the NPV Experience consists of a series of activities and events that want to emphasize the manfaction, including through prizes.
There will also be the Pizzaiuolo Championship, shows, concerts and many other initiatives.

This year there will also be the possibility to choose the solidarity menu to help you earthquake populations of central Italy. In fact, the extra figure compared to the standard price of the menu will be donated to the affected communities.

An evening dedicated to the "Neapolitan" in the world to those who have contributed to promoting the image of Naples beyond national borders.

Evening with good Neapolitan artists: Lino D'Angiò and Alan De Luca

Sunday September 11th

21 pm: Radio RTL 102.5 evening with the speakers and J-Ax, Grido and Fabio Rovazzi.

Prices and menus

At the 24 crates, located at the Rotonda Diaz, at the cost of 12€, we can buy the complete menu that includes:

  • Pizza (margherita or marinara). Each pizzeria is free to prepare its own specialty, in addition.
  • Drink (water, Coca Cola or beer)
  • Sweet (staple or ice cream)
  • Coffee (espresso or grandpa's coffee)
  • Those who do not want to buy the full menu can buy a drink or ice cream for € 2, while water, coffee and juices will cost € 1.

In addition, the organizers in favor of earthquake victims in central Italy have decided to make a solidarity menu at the price of 15 euro (instead of 12) with 3 euros in charity, which also includes a gadget (a bracelet) of the NPV Experience. We will be able to taste the pizza all'amatriciana, a traditional Lazio dish in the Neapolitan version.

Also in this edition the best Pizzaiuolo Championship in the world will be held at the Pizza Stadium and will be divided into 8 sections:

Naples Pizza Village Experience

In addition to traditional events, the public can purchase eexclusive objects, take part in lessons to learn how to knead a pizza with a master pizza chef, learn about the new pizzas menu of the best Neapolitan restaurants.

Children will be able to follow fun and educational lessons on pizza and discover the nutritional importance of this food in a healthy diet.

The sections:

  • NPV Kids, area and activities dedicated to children
  • NPV Pizza Class, at a pizza school with the Makers of the Neapolitan Pizzaiuoli Association.
  • NPV Preview: the new trends and previews of 2017 pizzas with 12 Top Player pizza in the world. Places are limited.
  • NPV Merchandising: Official Store to buy a souvenir of the event
  • NPV Team Building: team, experience, fun are the ingredients of the recreational-training activities for corporate events and incentives

Don't forget that thanks to the "Pizza online / Skip the line ", it will be possible buy on line the event's coupon menu avoiding long waiting times at the ticket offices.

How to Get There:

By car:

From the Tangenziale: take the Fuorigrotta exit and continue towards the center-Mergellina. At piazza Sannazzaro, continue on via Sannazzaro and then left on via Caracciolo, in the area open to traffic.
From the Via Marina side: take the Galleria della Vittoria and arrive at Piazza Vittoria.
On the side of Corso Vittorio Emanuele: get to Piazza Amedeo and proceed on Via Martucci.

Con i mezzi pubblici

La funicular of Chiaia to the Piazza Amedeo-Parco Margherita station. It is convenient for those who want to park at Vomero or arrive from that neighborhood.
The nearest metro stations are the 2 line with Piazza Amedeo station or Mergellina station. Recall that for the days 10 and 11 September the 2 line will be closed in the Campi Flegrei-San Giovanni / Barra line.
The night service ANM is also working with the N1 and N2 lines towards Fuorigrotta and towards Piazza Garibaldi.
The 650 bus (which runs along Piazza Garibaldi - Piazza Vittoria) will be upgraded and will start every 20 minutes from 8.00 to 23.30.

Parking

The closest car parks to the via Caracciolo area are viale Dohrn, behind the Villa Comunale, viale Gramsci and via Giordano Bruno.

The parking lots nearest to Piazza Vittoria are the Riviera di Chiaia and the Garage Morelli in via Domenico Morelli)

The parking lots closest to via Martucci are on the same street or back to the Chiaia Riviera.
