Napoli Pride 2025. Route, streets and the godmother of this edition
The parade of the Naples Pride 2025 will be held Saturday July 5, but the entire calendar includes meetings, shows and dialogues spread over the course of a week. The core of the activities will be the Pride Park at Real Albergo dei Poveri, open from 28nd June until the day of the parade.
The meaning and godmother of the 2025 edition
The Naples Pride is much more than a parade: it is a public act of visibility, vindication and solidarity. The 2025 edition has as its central theme the medium-high pace, and is accompanied by a political manifesto denouncing pinkwashing and any form of violence disguised as inclusiveness. The godmother this year will be Gaia Gozzi, an Italian-Brazilian artist committed to the themes of identity and inclusive love. The singer will also participate in the Final Star Show expected in Piazza Dante.
The official route of the procession
The procession will start from Piazza Municipio at 17pm and will end in Piazza Dante, crossing the symbolic points of the city centre:
- Piazza Municipio
- Via Vittorio Emanuele III
- Via San Carlo
- Piazza Trieste and Trento
- Via Toledo
- Piazza Carità
- Piazza Dante
The procession will be animated by floats, artistic performances, interventions by associations and free participation by citizens and visitors.
Road closures and traffic plan
To allow the event to take place safely, the City of Naples has set up a large device for temporary traffic:
- From 10:00 it will be Town Hall Square closed, with traffic diversion on Via Medina
- From 16:30 it will be traffic prohibited vehicular traffic along the entire route of the procession and in the surrounding streets
- It will be prohibited parking with forced removal in via San Carlo, via Toledo, Piazza Carità and in all the areas involved
- In via Pessina and surrounding areas will be active Mandatory deviations for public and private transport
- ANM bus lines and tourist vehicles will follow alternative routes
The role of associations and the Municipality
Pride 2025 is organized by a network of local entities: Antinoo Arcigay Naples, ALFI The Tides, ATN Trans Naples Association, Pride Vesuvius Rainbow e Campania Rainbow Coordination. The City of Naples co-organizes the event and promotes permanent projects against discrimination and homobitransphobia.
