General strike of local public transport of 24 hours scheduled for the 18 2013 October.
For the 18 October 2013 Black Friday is expected for local public transport, caused by one general strike of 24 hours which will certainly create inconvenience in various cities of Italy. The strike is called by the trade unions USB, Cobas Confederation, CUB with the adhesion of SNATER, OR.SA School of University and Research, SIAE Union, USI and Unicobas, and will last from 21 on Thursday 17 October to 21 on Friday 18 ottobre.
Le motivations of the strike are manifold: precariousness at work, revival of public administration at the service of citizens, "For the release of public employment contracts and for a real renewal of private sector contracts, for serious wage increases and adequate pensions to support a decent life, for the nationalization of strategic companies, against the privatization of public services for a fair tax that it finds tax evaders and reduces the tax burden on employees and the weakest sections of the population; for the defense of schools, universities, research and public welfare, for the generalized regularization of all migrants and the abolition of Bossi Fini; for democracy in the workplace"
In addition to local public transport, the following sectors will participate in the general strike: public administration, health, firefighters, environmental hygiene, air, rail and maritime transport.
