Naples, Cumana trains every 40 minutes

Another bad news arrives from the EAV, the Cumana trains will reduce the frequency of their journeys

Unfortunately, bad news continues to come from the EAV front: not only will there be one new stop for the December 6, within the wider strike of local public transport which also involves the ANM, but the latter will be anticipated by a new decision regarding the frequency of Cumana trains.

In fact, as stated on the EAV website, from tomorrow 5 December 2013 "the circulation of trains on the Cumana line will have frequency of 40 minutes". These new and long waiting times will remain valid until further notice to the contrary.

The management also specifies that the first trains will leave at 5.20 from Montesanto and at 6.00 from Torregaveta.
The cause derives from a low number of electric trains available in the train fleet.
The situation within EAV therefore seems to be increasingly critical with heavy consequences hardships for commuters and not.
