Christmas in Piazza Garibaldi 2025: workshops, music, and shows for a month of celebration.

From December 5, 2025 to January 8, 2026 the North area of Piazza Garibaldi It becomes a cultural space animated by workshops, shows, music, and activities for children and families. The program is part of the project. Beautiful Square, a program for the co-management of public spaces supported by the Fondazione Con il Sud together with a network of associations and cooperatives operating in the area. Some of the initiatives are promoted and funded by the Municipality of Naples as part of the cultural program Other Christmases.

Activities take place primarily in the Cavea and the Garibaldi Portineria, with the aim of encouraging participatory use of the square even during the winter months.

Games and workshops for children and teenagers

The program features numerous events dedicated to children's creativity. Among the main activities:

• Break & Christmas Vibes, laboratory by Gino Rota For children aged 9 to 14. Dates: December 5, 8, 9, 10, and 11 from 15:30 to 17:30 PM.
• Party in the Square Fundacion San Giuseppe/Library of the AssumptionDecember 7th, from 10:00 am to 14:00 pm, with readings, drawings, and gift distribution.
• Alarm in the Nativity Scene, laboratory of theVienterrant Association for children aged 6 to 11 from December 15th to 19th, from 15:30 pm to 17:30 pm.
• Intertwined Christmases, continuous laboratory of the Cooperative Dedalus For children aged 6 to 11: December 19, 22, 23, 29, 30 and January 5 from 9:30 to 12:30.

Shows, music and performances

The program includes a series of events involving families and children through theater, dance and music.

• Garibaldi Urban Orchestra (12–14 December): performances curated by Pessoa Luna Park ed Est(ra)Moenia.
• Capoeira Natal and Samba de Roda – December 16th at 17:00 pm, with CapoeiraMuzenza Italy.
• Figaro, the Juggler of Time – December 18th at 17:00 pm, by the Bus Theater.
• Rewind – December 20th at 18:00 pm, show by NAMNèsIA.
• Cartavelina – the footballer who challenged Nazism – December 23rd at 17:00 pm, production Theater 35.
• Stories to Stretch Your Legs – December 27th at 5pm, performance of the BisLuck company.

2026 opens with new events:

• Colapisci – Children's Concert – January 2rd at 17:00, curated by Massimo Ferrante.
• The Legend of the Christmas Tree – January 3rd at 11:00, curated by Give us wings.
• Sri Ridma – January 6th at 11:00, show of the Sri Ridma Dance Academy.
• Ka ya ma Kan – January 8th at 17:00 pm, with Omar Suleiman.

A project that values ​​community and participation

With "Bella Piazza," Piazza Garibaldi confirms its role as an open and shared urban laboratory, frequented by children, families, and citizens of all ages. A month of activities that showcases a Naples capable of regenerating its spaces through culture, collaboration, and creativity.
