In the metropolitan area of Naples between the end of the year and the beginning of 2020, 132 new EAV buses will be distributed
They will be distributed throughout the Naples metropolitan area 132 new buses EAV between the end of this year and the beginning of the next: the area was divided into areas and the new buses were assigned based on the extension and specific needs of each zone.
More specifically, of the 132 city buses 19 have length of 10,5 meters and will be delivered by the end of the year, while the remaining ones, that is bus from 7,5 meters, will be delivered for the 2020 spring.
Other types of buses will be included in the regional network by the end of the 2020, in order to significantly improve the service of the regional public transport network.
To decide which and how many buses to assign to the various areas of the metropolitan area of Naples, data referring to themedia obsolescence in operation and at need for service of each of them.
Currently the forecasts are as follows:
from 25 to 30 buses to the islands of Ischia and Procida
from 20 to 25 bus to the Flegrea area
from 10 to 15 buses toNeapolitan hinterland
from 25 to 30 buses toVesuvian area - Stabiese
from 10 to 15 buses toSorrento area
from 15 to 20 buses toNolan area
