They arrive new buses in the company park ofEAV, very important means of transport that will certainly contribute to making the service of the company that serves various areas of both Naples and the province more efficient.
The notice was given on the company's official website that they are 17 the new buses which increase the total number of buses a 375. They are distributed in 7 warehouses throughout the territory and 198 of them were registered between 2020 and 2022.
An increasingly rich and "young" bus fleet
In 2017 there were 190 EAV buses, but over the years, up to now, the number has increased considerably considering that, as mentioned, currently it has reached 375.
An increase of about double the means in 5 years which is important because it did drop the average age of the park to 7 years. Suffice it to say that in 2017 the average age of the buses was 16.
New hires in Eav
The company has announced that, to make the service more efficient, it is also the hiring of 29 new employees. Currently there are over 1000 hires and in addition about 200 former CTP workers have also been incorporated.
It means that in total about one third of the staff has been turned over. Now the workers are 3000 and a third of them have been hired in the last 3 years, lowering the average age of all staff.
