One of the most anticipated appointments to Napoli is definitely Night of Tammorra that this year the8th September 2018 in Piazza del Plebiscito, enriching the evening with i dances and songs of the Neapolitan tradition. The event makes the Neapolitan summer even more special with the dances and music of traditional artists who will perform on the stage set up in Piazza del Plebiscito.
Every year the Night of Tammorra is a huge success and attracts thousands of people, young and old, all lovers of the traditional music of our land, able to tell even and above all stories that belong to us and identify us. There godmother this year is Lina Sastri which, with the musician Ambrogio Sparagna, will present and enrich the group of guests of the evening.
Like every year, the maestro concertatore is Carlo Faiello, great composer and musician who has written some of the most exciting pieces of Neapolitan music. Faiello will lead the bacchanal nocturnal together with others musicians of folk, jazz, classical extraction. It will be an evening full of music, dances, poetry and of enormous beauty.
The event is definitely a free admission, as for each edition, and will fill Piazza del Plebiscito with joy, music, dance and popular culture.
The event is part of the program of Summer in Naples and is organized by Il Canto di Virgilio and promoted by the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Naples.
