Suggestive night walks to the archaeological excavations of Pompeii and other Vesuvian sites, to discover these fascinating places!
From the 2 24 October 2020, every Friday and Saturday and November 14 on the occasion of the Night of the Museums, will be organized suggestive nocturnal walks in Pompeii and in the other Vesuvian archaeological sites.
Particularly eight will be the appointments in which illuminated paths will be set up in the Vesuvian archaeological excavations, a project that was born for the enhancement of these places, promoted by the Ministry for Heritage, Cultural Activities and Tourism.
In addition to the night walks, the evening of 14 November 2020 will be added, with evening visits always in the same archaeological sites and that of 31 October 2020.

Pompei
In the archaeological excavations of Pompei the night visits will involve the center of the ancient city, or the Forum, with a path of sounds and lights by Enel Sole. The evening will end with an interesting video projection at the Basilica, the Ancient Palace of Justice.

Stabia
A Stabia you can visit the Archaeological Museum of Stabiae Libero D'Orsi, recently opened where you can admire numerous finds from the Stabia area including frescoes, floors in opus sectile, stuccos, sculptures, terracotta, tableware, bronze and iron objects .

Oplontis
Ad Oplontis for night walks you can visit the beautiful illuminated Villa di Poppea, attributed to Poppea Sabina, wife of the Emperor Nero. Admission will be allowed to a maximum of 40 people.

Boscoreale
A Boscoreale it will be possible to visit the Villa Regina, made up of various rooms arranged on three sides of an open courtyard which houses the wine cell with eighteen dolia. Access will be allowed to a maximum of 15 people per shift.

In addition, another evening opening will be organized in Pompeii, Oplontis and Villa Regina on October 31, 2020 to recover the day of September 26 (European Heritage Day) postponed due to bad weather. The opening will be from 20:00 to 23:00, with last admission at 22:00 and at a cost of 1 euro. Tickets can be purchased on the ticket one website or at the Porta Marina Superiore ticket office.
