You know theOctober Fest, the world-renowned beer festival held every year in Munich? If you are a fan of the genre you can not miss it at all the October Festival to be held at Mostra d'Oltremare of Naples for two weekends, from the 30 June to the 2 July 2017 and from the 7 to the 8 July 2017.
The October Festival is part of the broader event from the title Naples Meet the World which will include many other international festivals scheduled over the same two weekends.
During the October Festival it will be possible to immerse yourself in one true Bavarian atmosphere, among typical gastronomic specialties like grilled wurstel, bretzel, Nuremberg sausages and pork knuckle, and rivers of local beer like the Weiss and the Paulaner. All surrounded by traditional music, concerts of trumpets and accordions!
Events of the October Festival
Bavarian restaurant
You will have the opportunity to feel yourself in a typical Bavarian restaurant and savor local dishes: from the famous Frankfurt wurstel, To bratwurst of Monaco, from grilled pork shank Nuremberg sausages, from Bretzel, the typical Bavarian bread to the famous Emmental with speck, all accompanied by sauerkraut or classic fries. Do not miss the typical Bavarian potato pie, a tasty rustic dish. Cake lovers can not miss the famous apple strudel, the most famous dessert of Bavarian cuisine.
Bavarian beers
At the October Festival you can not miss the protagonists: Bavarian beers, among the most loved in the world. The absolute queen of the festival will be the Paulaner, one of the prestigious and famous seven sisters of Munich. You can sip all the variations, from the amber blonde, to the intense dark to the murky White!
Concert program
Every evening of the festival they will perform, for 4 consecutive hours, the Alpen Vagabunden, a musical group composed of wind instruments, guitar and accordion, which will offer a rich repertoire of traditional Tyrolean and Bavarian songs. Their addictive rhythm will surely make you have fun but above all dance!
