Review of the Antica Trattoria da Carmine in via Tribunali!
Let's go to the local Vomerese "At the refuge", Which we presented in the previous review, to an old trattoria in a truly strategic position in the historic center:"Antica Trattoria da Carmine".
The local
The restaurant is located right in front of the entrance to Napoli Sotterranea, therefore easily reachable by subway or bus.
Unlike most of the clubs in the historic center, this is a medium-sized venue. The style of furniture, continuing to maintain a traditional base, is quite simple with many photographs decorating the environment.
Despite having read reviews on trip advisor that signaled the rudeness of the waiters and the tight pace that is imposed, we deviate from these criticisms. Even being a Friday night, the waiters did not rush and were not rude to us.

The menu
Compared to a classic trattoria, "Da Carmine" presents a decidedly choice greater. The menu includes first, second and side dishes, both meat and fish. Interestingly, you go from humble, albeit delicious, pasta and potatoes with provolone to more elaborate and expensive fish dishes. Good choice of drinks, including house wine.

The order
We preferred not to take the starter, but go directly to the first course. We tried pasta and potatoes with provola, which is slightly detached from the traditional recipe, but overall it was good.
As a second first course we tried the house specialty: "pasta alla Carmine". This dish is nothing more than a Bolognese pasta with provola. The gravy was well pulled and the meat of good quality. She also satisfied us with this dish. The portions were enough great and the pasta dishes very seasoned.
As second courses we have chosen meatballs with sauce and Chops. These dishes, cooked according to tradition, were good enough. Overall the dinner was surprising, considering that usually the tourist places tend to lose the quality of the dishes in favor of appearance.
The dinner consists of first + second + drink + covered + service costs 14 €!!!
