A party open to all for the beginning of the academic year at the Apple Development Center in Naples with DJ sets, street food and prizes!

As we all now know, the Apple has chosen Naples for its development center for iOS apps and specifically in the university campus of Federico II in San Giovanni a Teduccio.
After the publication of the announcement for the selection of students who will attend the courses to become developers, the tests were held and 200 students were selected who will be able to start the academic year starting from October and January.
In fact, the 6 October 2016 there will be the inauguration of the iOS Academy, the first made in Europe, and a group of 100 students will immediately start the courses, while the rest will attend from January 2017. In addition to students from Campania, there are also many young foreigners.
To inaugurate the academic year will be the rector Gaetano Manfredi, the minister for the University Stefania Giannini, Lisa Jackson, Apple's vice president for Environment, Policy and Social Initiatives. Apple CEO Tim Cook will not be present, but he sent a letter announcing his upcoming surprise visit.
The inaugural ceremony, named “I chose Naples”, will also be a kind of Show since Apple's leaders have asked to be able to do one presentation in the style of Steve Jobs. Furthermore, there will also be one party open to all, starting from 18: 00. There will be Dj set e street food, it will be a real party with a theme chosen by the students: “because I chose to live in Naples”.

Final of "Ho Scelto Napoli". The 10 finalists will be presented and will receive an evaluation by the jury. Finally there will be the awarding of the winners.
From 21.00 until late at night
The evening comes alive with the Music Festival, dances, Live Music and Dj sets.
