Evening openings at 1 euro at Castello di Baia: between art, music, dance and history to admire the sunset from the wonderful terraces!
Al Castle of Baia, part of the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields, are scheduled Extraordinary evening openings at 1 euro. The unmissable appointments are scheduled for the 19, 20, 26 and 27 July 2018, when the public can admire the gulf between shows and events. The opportunity is given by anniversary of Sant'Anna, patron of Bacoli, which will be celebrated in a fusion of history and popular tradition.
On the bill, many initiatives: dance, music and art performances will allow visitors to learn about the recent archaeological discoveries of Cuma, while the museum collections will be available in over 50 rooms. Particularly suggestive panoramic terraces, a privileged point from which it will be possible watch the sunset and the Phlegraean area.
Places rich in history, of which the castle itself is an important symbol. Incorporating the remains of a Roman villa, the fortress was built in the sixteenth century by the Aragonese, who at the time ruled the Kingdom of Naples. There military function it was maintained until the nineteenth century.
