Open top bus timetable and route Naples 26 May scudetto celebration

On Monday 26 May 2025, Napoli will celebrate the fourth championship with an official parade along the Lungomare Caracciolo, involving thousands of fans and an impressive security system. The event, scheduled for the afternoon, will see the players reach land by sea and then board two open-top buses that will cross the city in celebration. The entire area will be cordoned off and guarded, with regulated access and giant screens distributed in several points to allow everyone to attend.
What time does the Napoli footballers' parade start?
The appointment for the start of the parade is set at 15:00. Players will disembark from some boats at Luise Pier of Mergellina, where they will board the official buses of the company. From that moment the parade will start, which will last about two hours and will end within 17:30The expected influx of people is impressive: the presence of over 200.000 fans, of which approx 150.000 inside the main circuit on the seafront.
What is the complete route of the parade?
The route will follow a circuit of approximately 3 kilometers. After boarding at Molo Luise, the buses will travel Via Caracciolo up to Piazza Vittoria, then reverse the route and go back on the same road axis. The entire area will be closed to traffic, with restricted access and checks at the gatesThe circuit will be delimited:
- North: via Giordano Bruno and Riviera di Chiaia;
- West: Sannazaro square;
- to the east: Victory Square.
Inside the perimeter there will be active health facilities, civil protection stations, police checks and stewards to manage the flows.

Where to watch the parade: big screens and dedicated areas
To allow participation even for those who will not be able to enter the central area, four giant screens at the following strategic points:
- Largo Sermoneta
- Piazza Sannazaro
- Piazza San Pasquale
- Via Partenope (height of former University)
In total, these areas can accommodate up to 50.000 Guests. These are areas visually connected to the route but more accessible, especially for those arriving from peripheral areas or from outside the city.
Safety measures and extraordinary traffic
The entire parade will be managed by an impressive security device. The following have been mobilized:
- 1.000 men including law enforcement, municipal police, firefighters;
- 1.300 private stewards;
- 400 Regional Civil Protection operators.
Access to the area will be permitted only from specific gates located at the entrances of the Villa Comunale. They will be installed crash barriers along the sea side and a check is also planned on the stretch of sea in front of the Luise Pier.
Schools closed and advice for residents
To ensure public order and facilitate the organization of the event, the schools of Municipality 1, included kindergartens and preschools, will remain closed for the whole day on Monday, May 26. Residents are advised to plan trips, errands and urgent needs in advance before the event begins.
