Il 6 December will open the ticket booking system for travel on “The Dolce Vita train".
A project by Arsenale in collaboration with Ferrovie dello Stato.
What is the “Orient Express la Dolce Vita” train
It is a itinerant project on iron, trains with a very high stylistic appeal that will travel along some routes panoramic for Italy, divided into “North”, “Centre” and “South” zones. We are not talking about a classic train where the sooner you arrive the better, but about slow-moving trains where the experience is the journey itself in the excellence of Made in Italy, obviously immersed in the luxury.
The journey will take place along 16.000km of railway lines, of these as many as 7000 are not electrified therefore rarely traveled.
The trains are highly historic trains with luxury services that have nothing to envy to the 5-star hospitality services of the most renowned hotels.
How trains are made
Five trains in service with 10 carriages per train, inside 32 cabins per train of which 20 result and 12 deluxe cabins, accommodating 64 passengers.
