"Picasso. Eclecticism of a genius ", the highly anticipated exhibition on the famous Spanish artist will be set up at the Villa Fiorentino in Sorrento
The rumors spread in recent months are now certainties. The splendid Villa Fiorentino of Sorrento will host a exhibition dedicated to Pablo Picasso, the undisputed master of modern art of the last century.
30 from May to October 12 2014 at the headquarters of Sorrento Foundation will host the exhibition Picasso. Eclecticism of a genius, which will include an exhibition of over 240 graphic engravings, 25 ceramics, oils and unique works created by one of the most famous artists of the twentieth century. The exhibition will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the eclectic and multifaceted world of the Spanish artist, to learn about the different techniques and the various stylistic phases experimented by the artist throughout his activity, but also the less known aspects and the little diffused works of Picasso production.

The exhibition will be organized by the scientific committee composed of Mariastella Margozzi (director of the Boncompagni Ludovisi Museum in Rome) and Claudia Casali (director of the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza).
In short, Sorrento will once again be confirmed as a pole of artistic and cultural promotion in Campania and Southern Italy for a summer, after hosting a record-breaking exhibition last year, The Dali Universe dedicated to the master of surrealist art Salvador Dali which turned out to be one of the most visited art exhibitions in our region, counting 47 thousand views with "peaks" of 641 visitors in a single day. Inaugurated on 14 June 2013 it was, in fact, prolonged until last 13 October, to satisfy the great demand of tourists but also of the citizens of Campania.
