Parking in Piazza Vittoria in Naples: the project with 500 underground parking spaces

Piazza Vittoria parking

Company ProtoPower, on behalf of Tirreno Fuel, has carried out a preliminary design of the new one underground parking which will be found in Piazza Vittoria in Naples. It will consist of 556 parking spaces, of which 54 will be reserved for people with disabilities.

The car park can be accessed via two ramps which will be positioned between the two islands with flowerbeds located near the Villa Comunale of Naples. As explained by one of the architects participating in the project, namely Luigi Vartuli, the project it will respect the historical, architectural and landscape context of the square and will obviously be functional.

However, at present this project has not yet taken shape, but it will go alongside other projects already established, such as the underground parking proposed in the past by Quick Parking, included in the Urban Parkings program, but blocked ten years ago.

The new projects planned for the road system

There are various projects planned, in fact there will be the opening of the San Pasquale and Arco Mirelli stations shortly and by the end of this year the works for the redevelopment and restyling of Via Partenope.

Furthermore, the Municipality of Naples has decided to carry out a re-evaluation of the Urban Parking Program for 2012. We therefore look forward to the next news.
