Equipped with a helmet and a torch, you will explore thearcheological area, located below the Armory Room, which also houses one of the geological sections best preserved in the city and is characterized by the superimposition of pyroclastic deposits resulting from the eruptions of Vesuvius and Campi Flegrei. Afterwards, it will be possible to follow the Torre del Beverello ravine and become aware of the defense methods introduced by the Aragonese to repel enemy attacks.

Finally, we will reach the panoramic terrace of the northern curtain of the Castle that directly overlooks the construction sites of the Metro 1 line di Piazza Municipio, where it emerged, at a depth of about 13 meters from today's walking level, the port basin of the Greco-Roman Naples which had to affect the whole square and which is proven by the discovery of well five naval vessels whose plating has been extraordinarily preserved.
