Philly cheesesteak, local wine and music: a weekend in Liberi between taste and dance.

Two evenings outdoors, immersed in the greenery of Alto Casertano, with intense aromas, typical food e live music: Food Festival – Sagra di Liberi 2025 returns the 21 and 22 June with a new edition to be enjoyed. The protagonist of the weekend will be the Philly Cheese Steak, reinterpreted in a local key and served with local wines. The evenings will be enlivened by group dances, rhythms Latin Americans and a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for a break from the urban heat.

Who organizes the festival?

The event is curated by the local community along Via Vittorio Emanuele, In the heart of Free (CE). Organized with the aim of promoting the food and wine culture and the natural resources of the area, the festival has now become a fixed stop in the summer in the province of Caserta. The mountain location, with clean Air e pristine landscape, helps make each edition an authentic and welcoming experience.

What do you eat at the festival

The star dish of 2025 will be the Philly Cheese Steak, in the classic version and with local variations. Accompanying it:

• Hot stuffed sandwiches with meat and melted cheese
• Platters with local cold cuts and cheeses
• Rustic side dishes and grilled vegetables
• Artisanal sweets
• Local red and white wines

The aim is to create a mix between international street food e Campanian flavours, offering an original but rooted culinary experience.

Other activities of the festival

During both evenings, there will be musical performances, group dances and moments of entertainment for adults and children.
