From July 13th to 17th 2022 the special appointment with the event dedicated to the most loved and requested dish in the world is renewed, we are talking about the event Pizza Expo Caserta which returns, to the delight of young and old, after a two-year break.
In particular, the fifth edition of the event will take place at the Gardens of the Maria Carolina Park, right near the majestic Royal Palace of Caserta.
Many artists will be expected for this new edition, in addition to the participation of the most accredited pizzerias in the area and beyond, which will be competing to compete for the Royal Palace Trophy, in the last edition the winning pizzeria was Pharina of Capodrise.
Not only good food but also a lot of fun both for adults with shows and music, but also for young visitors with a large free area of the park with games and inflatable rides.
The specialties at the Pizza Expo for the Reggia Trophy
In addition to tasting the traditional Margherita and Marinara, we will also be able to taste the specialties presented by different pizzerias.
They will be prepared:
- the "Cummarella", prepared by the pizzeria Pharina, winner of the “Reggia Trophy” in the last edition, pre-served with San Marzano tomatoes in the shade, provolone, river peppers, sausage, Parmigiano Reggiano, basil and extra virgin olive oil;
- the special “Tradizione” pizza by Crunch prepared with the base of the classic pasta and potatoes (sautéed celery, carrots, onion and potatoes), smoked provolone in straw, velvety purple potatoes, American potato chips and crispy bacon;
- the pizza 280 Grams of the homonymous pizzeria prepared with a base of Cheddar cheese, Fiordilatte di Agerola, crispy bacon and crispy onion at the exit;
- the pizza "Un Friariello at 40 degrees" from the Pizzeria From Marco prepared with a white base with broccoli cream, spicy salami and Naples provola;
- Furthermore, Sunrise Pizza will prepare gluten-free Margherita and Marinara and lactose-free mozzarella;
- la True Pizzeria he will present his “Baccalà” prepared with creamed cod with lemon, capers, olives, mint and parsley at the exit;
- Pizza Guys he will prepare the “Provola e Pepe” pizza with San Marzano tomatoes, Provola di Agerola and black pepper;
- White art will prepare the "Diavoletta ”with sweet cheeses, spicy salami, crunchy onion and semi-dry yellow and red datterini tomatoes.
