Also to Napoli opened Pizzium, the famous chain of Neapolitan pizzerias with its own high-level concept that now has dozens of locations throughout Italy and which in our city is located at Vomero in Via Luca Giordano.

It is his second venue in Southern Italy, after that of Salerno, and can accommodate numerous customers thanks to its large spaces, in fact it contains 67 covered and a dehors, that is, one outdoor space with 70 seats.

Why, however, also open in Naples, considered globally the cradle and home of pizza, the place where there are the masters of this culinary art?

Pizzium is having great success all over the country, in all the Regions where it has opened, thanks to the high quality of the ingredients used and the menu it offers as regional pizza specialties made with local PDO and PGI products.

Furthermore, it must be considered that the ideas for pizzas and their realization are carried out by Neapolitan master pizza maker Nanni Arbellini who has great experience and who combines the ingredients of traditional Neapolitan pizza with regional gastronomic excellences.

The ingredients of the special Pizzium pizza

A pizza is used to make this place's pizza flour type "0" developed specifically for Pizzium by the Maestro fi Farine Eduardo Ore of Colombo Mill, a company to which the leavening masters have been turning for more than 140 years.

It is a very special flour because it is obtained with the diagram of 24-pass grinding and gives the dough an original and unique scent. It is also very digestible because it has the right amount of gluten.

The cornice thus appears alveolate, that is, rich in air bubbles, and even at times peeled.

The menu including pizzas, bruschetta and Panuozzum

Pizzium could not fail to offer a rich and particular menu. In addition to pizzas, you can order:

  • Panuozzum, a clear reference to the panuozzo of Gragnano
  • Baba
  • cannoli

and much more.

As for the pizzas, we read in the menu that there are, among the classics:

  • Margherita with peeled tomatoes, sprinkled with grated cheese and Agerola mozzarella;
  • Naples with peeled tomatoes, fior di latte from Agerola and anchovies from Cetara
  • Bufalina with peeled tomatoes, sprinkled with grated cheese and buffalo mozzarella;

While among the Regionals:

  • Campania with smoked provola from Agerola, pink pork sausage and fresh broccoli;
  • Basilicata with Agerola mozzarella, pink pork sausage and fresh broccoli;
  • Calabria with peeled tomatoes, fior di latte from Agerola, 'Nduja from Spilinga and caciocavallo;
  • Sicily with Agerola mozzarella, Mediterranean Alletterato tuna, confit datterini tomatoes and pitted olives;
  • Liguria with fior di latte from Agerola, confit yellow and red datterini tomatoes and basil pesto.

The style of the place

Pizzium's premises are unmistakable and are recognized for their original and unique style. The environment is a lot welcoming and informal, in addition to being very colorful. The floors are in majolica, the chairs in Wood, the chandeliers in cloth and all the materials are colorful recreating a nice warm atmosphere that makes us feel at home.
