Pozzuoli, the free beaches have closed since May 29th

Free beach in Pozzuoli

Free beaches throughout the coast of Pozzuoli are closed pending access according to safe rules.

An ordinance of the municipality of Pozzuoli decrees that from Friday 29 May 2020 the free beaches will remain closed because the conditions to ensure the safety of bathers in this period of emergency from Coronavirus do not exist.

In fact, the mayor Vincenzo Figliolia signed the ordinance 103 which provides for the ban on permanent presence on free beaches both for sunbathing and for simply setting aside. In short, it is forbidden for the moment to stop on the free beaches in the entire stretch of the coast of Pozzuoli.

The measure is temporary, even if for the moment the date on which it will be valid is not known, pending the development of a plan that respects the regional indications and the safety protocol. In any case, the mayor of Pozzuoli stated that as early as next week, so from early June, efforts will be made to ensure regulated access.

Also in the same order, it is also provided that in the beaches under concession the bathing must be carried out only when the assembly operations will end and the managers will have to respect and enforce all the rules to contain the contagion from Covid-19.

Finally, we point out that also the Bacoli beaches will be closed on the weekend and that, in the future, a reservation for access is required.
