Procida won among all the finalists and will be the Italian Capital of Culture in 2022!
Procida is the Italian Capital of Culture for 2022 and it was officially communicated by Dario Franceschini, the Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism.

They will arrive in Procida 1 million euro to use for the occasion. We remember that our island was one of the 10 finalists and it won over Cerveteri, Ancona, Bari, L'Aquila, Pieve di Soligo (Treviso), Taranto, Trapani, Verbania and Volterra.
The victory was decided by the jury of Professor Stefano Baia Curioni, President and the mayor of Procida, Raimondo Ambrosino, naturally said he was very happy because the news represents "a huge joy and Procida is the metaphor of many communities that have rediscovered the enthusiasm and pride for their territories.
