Pulcinella 2017 Music Festival in Acerra with free concerts of Venditti and Avitabile
Free concerts by Antonello Venditti and Enzo Avitabile and historical re-enactment at the Pulcinella Music Festival 2017 in Acerra!
Also this year the appointment with the Pulcinella Music Festival of Acerra is from 23 to 26 April 2017 provides a free program of concerts in the town square.
The guests of this edition will be big names like Enzo Avitabile ed Antonello Venditti, but in the other two evenings there will also be an opera concert with Neapolitan songs and a suggestive historical re-enactment that will reproduce theassault on the Baronial Castle. Moreover, there will also be a Grand Gala with the director Lina Wertmuller and Lino d'Angiò.
So, it will be four days of music and shows not to be missed.

23th April
Assault on the Castle
The Senator Arquebusiers Trombonieri will direct the “Historical re-enactment of the Siege of the Baronial Castle of Acerra in 1421”. More than 250 costumed figures who, in collaboration with other local realities, will compete in this very original show.

Gran Galà of Operational Concert and Neapolitan Songs
The Ars Nova Orchestra and Chorus Cordis, with soloists from San Carlo Theater of Naples will perform:
- Romances and Opera Choirs by Puccini - Verdi - Mascagni - Orff
- Classic Neapolitan songs: 'O Marenaniello - Je Te Vurria vasà - Back to Surriento - Dicitencello Vuje - Passion - Marechiaro - Funiculì Funiculà, The Woman is Mobile,' O Sole Mio, Nessun Dorma
Lina Wertmuller will read a poem and the evening will be presented by Lino D'Angiò.
