Quore Spinato, to discover the street art of the Quartieri Spagnoli

Discovering the Spanish Quarters of Naples through the murals created by Cyop & Kaf

Il 27 June 2015 we can participate in "Quore Spinato", An unprecedented guided tour in the heart of the Spanish Neighborhoods of Naples, discovering over two hundred paintings made by Cyop & Kaf.

CyopeKaf are two Neapolitan writers that with their graffiti adorn the walls of our city, especially in degraded or abandoned areas. The residents, pleased with this art form, helped the two artists to find new corners to fill with their exceptional and colorful murals, which are now real paintings by the author.

Hence the project of the Hermes Association - Tourism and Cultural Heritage, which decided to organize guided tours, every last weekend of the month, wandering around the very characteristic popular alleys, in a careful search of the numerous works. Among these there are also hundreds of figures, such as "Crocevia", "Montecalvario", "Lanciato", at the sight of which the visitors are almost astonished.

But Quore Spinato is above all a meeting between ordinary people, made up of interviews, concerts, parties in the square, exhibitions, told in a book. The real protagonist is this neighborhood known more for the crime story than for its historicity, which must be revalued.
