La braid of fiordilatte is a very popular dairy product in Naples and Campania and we want to advise you how to prepare it stuffed.

Speaking of recipes, tradition and innovation they often hug each other to create mouth-watering delights and in this appointment we propose a second course with a new look and taste, but above all very easy to prepare. Just the braid of fiordilatte lends itself to delicious recipes because drier than mozzarella and, in our recipe, elegantly substitutes bread, becoming a sort of delicious sandwich.

Here are the steps of the recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 floridilatte braid from 600 gr approximately
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 friggitelli or sweet peppers
  • 20 gr fresh rucola
  • 50 g cooked ham
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 10 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 2-3 fresh basil leaves

Method

Cut the cucumber , peeling and reducing it to thin slices. Collect the slices in a strainer after salting them, then let them drain. Wash the friggitelli and chop them and cut them into rounds after removing the internal seeds, if there were any.

Subsequently, wash and chop the rocket leaves and add all the freshly prepared ingredients. Salt and pepper the salad adding two chopped basil leaves. Season with a little oil.

Finally, cut the braid of fioridilatte in half length and stuff it with the cooked ham and the salad prepared and seasoned previously. Season the stuffed milk with a few drops of oil on top garnish with chopped fresh basil.
