Finally, after the blockade period due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the historic train starts again Reggia Express which will lead you to the wonderful Royal Palace of Caserta starting from Naples.
The initiative will start on the day 17 October with a second date on November 21, 2021and is organized by ACaMIR, or the Campana Mobility Infrastructure and Networks Agency, together with the FS Foundation, precisely to raise awareness of cultural heritage through rail tourism.
The timetables of the Reggia Express
On Sunday 17 October and Sunday 21 November the historic trains of Reggia Express, with carriages of the type Centoporte and Corbellini, and they will leave at 10:00 from Garibaldi Station in Naples to head Palace of Caserta with scheduled time at 10:40. The return train is scheduled at 17:00 from Caserta station and will arrive in Naples at 17:30.
Tickets can be purchased on all Trenitalia sales channels, at ticket offices and self-service stations in the station and in authorized travel agencies.
Agreements with the Royal Palace of Caserta
By purchasing the return ticket of the historic Reggia Express train you can have a special reduced ticket at a cost of 10 euros for a visit to the Royal Palace which will also include the historic Apartments, the Park and the English Garden.
The reduced ticket can be purchased with compulsory online booking from the Royal Palace website and on TicketOne. The online booking, which we remember to be mandatory, will have an additional cost of 1 euro.
