Friday 30 September 2022 returns there Researchers' Night also to Napoli with dozens of events in different places in the city, appointments dedicated to the world of science between physics, chemistry, biology, nature and astronomy.

Precisely in relation to the astronomical field, theCapodimonte Observatory which, like every year, is always a protagonist of this review. In the context of Streets project (Science Technology Research for Ethical Engagement Translated in Society), on 30 September, the INAF-Osservatorio di Capodimonte will take us to a incredible journey through the Universe.

Discovering the Cosmos and its wonders

With the collaboration ofINGV-Vesuvian Observatory and Neapolitan Amateur Astronomers Union, in the beautiful monumental seat of the Capodimonte Observatory we will be able to discover the wonders of the Cosmos near and far, keeping your feet firm on the earth.

We will learn a lot about Galaxies, on planets, On stars, on the profession of astronomer and volcanologist and we can also do observations to the telescope.

During the evening they will be distributed gadgets for all, postcards and the traditional diploma of Astronomer for one night.

As for UAN activities during the evening, there will be the following events:

The sky of Naples: on the east side of the square in front of the Monumental Building, the public will be guided to observe the sky of the month both with the naked eye and with the telescope and celestial maps of the sky of the month and other information and dissemination material on Astronomy will be distributed;
A heavenly story: visit to the Sala delle Colonne (Vestibule) with explanations on the foundation of the Observatory
