- 200 ml extra virgin olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1-2 bay leaves
- 100 ml sunflower seed oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking tuna
Clean the tuna under running water in order to remove blood or other residues and cut it into pieces of your choice, according to your taste. Use a large pot full of boiling water and lightly salted with 2-3 tablespoons of coarse salt. Let it cook a medium heat for about 15 minutes. Drain the pieces of tuna as soon as they are cooked (the cooking time depends on the size), let them dry and cool.
Tuna seasoning
Put the pieces of tuna in one sterilized can, add the peeled whole garlic and bay leaves. Tuck the jar of olive oil mixed with that of seeds, which will make the preparation lighter, and vacuum the cans. To do the vacuum, you will have to immerse the jars well closed in boiling water (making sure it reaches the edge without touching the lid) and boil for 15-20 minutes. Next, you will have to cool the jars upside down.
Once the procedure is finished, keep them in a dark and cool place. wait about 2-3 months before consuming the preparation.
