From 8 to 13 August 2022 there will be several closures in the exits of the Naples ring road to allow some inspection works in the “Monte Sant'Angelo” tunnel and also inspection works in the Doganella station.

The work will be carried out in night time so as not to get in the way of traffic.

Here are all the details and alternative exits.

Closing times and alternative routes

Here are all the details:

  • From 8 to 13 August a section of the Naples ring road will be closed, precisely that between Fuorigrotta and Italy 90, which would be the link connecting Via Agnano to the Astroni / Tangenziale. These closures are necessary because inspection activities of the “Monte Sant'Angelo” tunnel will have to be carried out. The section will be closed only in the direction of Pozzuoli and according to these times: on the nights of 8, 9, 10 and Thursday 11 August from 22:00 to 6:00. In the night between 12 and 13 August from 23 pm on Friday 00 August to 12 am on Saturday 6 August.
  • Closing the Doganella station from 23 pm on Tuesday 00 August to 9 am on Wednesday 6 August. The station will be closed at the exit for those coming from Pozzuoli. It is advisable to exit, alternatively, at the Secondigliano / Aeroporto exit.
  • Finally, from 23:00 on 9 August to 6:00 on 10 August, at the “Camaldoli” entrance ramp there will be the closure of the Rione Alto entrance ramp and those coming from ordinary roads can use the “Camaldoli” entrance ramp from Vomero. Furthermore, at the “Camaldoli” exit the exit ramp towards Rione Alto will be closed because it comes from the “Camaldoli” toll booths.
