The largest ice skating rink in the south returns to Mugnano

From Friday October 18, in the parking lot of the shopping center Mugnano of Naples, the largest ice skating rink in Central and Southern Italy will reopen. The rink, also present in the famous playground of Disneyland Paris, will be the main attraction of the fourth edition of Mugnano on the Ice, event organized by Pro Loco Mugnano APS in collaboration with the Municipality and the local shopping center. The track will remain active for eight months, giving adults and children a unique opportunity for fun and socialization.

New for the 2024 edition

The synthetic ice rink XTRAICE it extends over an area of ​​approximately 300 square meters, making it the largest in Central-Southern Italy. In addition to the vast skating area, this year there is something new: the ice hockey field, which will offer participants the opportunity to try their hand at this exciting discipline.

The initiative, part of the fourth edition of Mugnano on the Ice, is designed to provide entertainment for people of all ages. The Pro Loco Mugnano APS declared that the event will be full of surprises, aiming to create a magical and unforgettable atmosphere. “Mugnano sul ghiaccio is coming back. The most anticipated event of the year is just around the corner. Young and old alike, get ready because many surprises await you. We are working to make this event magical and unforgettable,” reads the official note released by the organization.

Available attractions

In addition to the ice rink and hockey field, the facility will also host other attractions for the enjoyment of young and old. Last year, two new attractions were introduced: the Toboggan, a two-lane inclined slide ideal for children, and a Curling, the only one in Italy in addition to the one present in Trentino. Also this year, the area will not be missing playground and the area inflatable, designed for the little ones.

Special Events for Halloween

For the party of Halloween, one is expected costume party with creative workshops, face painting, monstrous tattoos, dancing and laps on the dance floor. The scariest costume will be rewarded with a special gift, making the event even more engaging for the whole family.
