Roller Skating Festival 2024 arrives in Naples on the Caracciolo seafront

Naples hosts the second edition of the Roller Skating Festival , the event dedicated to lovers of skating and roller sports in Southern Italy. On October 26 and 27, 2024, the Caracciolo seafront will transform into a large outdoor rink for professionals, athletes, and enthusiasts, who can participate in competitions , shows, and exhibitions in a festive atmosphere. The event is organized by the ASD OneLine Skating School and the ADS Sebs Fiera dello Sport, with free admission.

What to do at the roller skating festival

During the two-day Roller Skating Festival , the Naples seafront will host a large open-air skating rink accessible to all: professionals, amateurs, and anyone who wants to get closer to the world of skating . The event includes:

• Seven competitions between races federal and demonstrative
• Shows and performances di professional athletes
• Inclusive discipline, with certified instructors available to participants
• La first european master inline skate marathon

There will also be areas dedicated to various disciplines , such as hockey and figure skating , and a skate park where young people can try out tricks and acrobatics.

Statements from the organizers

The Roller Skating Festival was presented at Palazzo San Giacomo in the presence of Sports Councilor Emanuela Ferrante, Provincial Delegate of the National Olympic Committee (CONI) in Naples Agostino Felsani, President of the Italian Roller Sports Federation of Campania Francesco Rossi, President of the Italian Winter Sports Federation Antonio Barulli, and organizers Rossella Montagna and Tommaso Conte.

"Our commitment is to provide space for all sports with the aim of introducing them to children and adults," said Councilor Ferrante. "Following last year's success, the Roller Skating Festival returns as an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Naples and promote sporting activity ." The organizers emphasized the importance of the event's inclusivity and accessibility, offering an opportunity to learn about roller sports.

Tommaso Conte explained: "We've planned areas dedicated to various disciplines , such as hockey and figure skating , and a skate park for acrobatics. In addition to the competitions , there will be spaces for those who want to try roller sports, with federal instructors ready to teach."

Rossella Montagna added: "For the first time, we will have a European inline skating championship , a true champion of this discipline. Two days of immersion in sporting activities where everyone can participate or just observe."
