Rome Film Fest: tomorrow, three films on Scampia are scheduled

Three films produced by 'Sons of the Bronx'. Films conceived and created thanks also to the important collaboration with the Mammut Territorial Center, with the Scampia Vele Committee, with the Municipality of Naples and thanks to the co-production with Minerva Pictures Group.

There are three films scheduled in Rome for tomorrow, and all are set in the difficult urban area of the northern suburbs of Naples. The first is the short film 'Cyrus' from Sergio Panariello, while the other two, the "Perpetual interdiction'by Gaetano Di Vaio and'The man with the megaphone ' di Michelangelo Severgnini, are both documentaries that will be presented in the Perspective Italy section. The films, for those strange coincidences of life, will be screened in a period in which the spotlight has turned back on Scampia due to the new bloody feud, all the recent murders and the death of innocents.

Many young people from Naples and the suburbs will participate in the event. The various associations that are concerned with improving in some way the difficult reality in which these teenagers are forced to grow up this time have also managed to ensure that several buses will take many boys from Scampia and the Spanish Quarters to the red carpet where they can participate in the last day of the l festival. The boys will be there to testify to the fact that they all want normality, peace, legality and above all they want an end to the degradation that grips their streets.
