Ryanair celebrates i 5 years of presence and activity in Naples with a great result: it announced to be the largest ever operating in the airport of Capodichino with 57 routes, of which well 12 are new destinations.
In fact, 5 years have passed since the first Ryanair Naples-Barcelona flight and the low cost travel company wants to celebrate by proposing awide offer from Naples for summer 2022.
In Naples there are 5 Ryanair planes, for one investment of 500 million dollars, and the connections between Naples and Campania with national and international cities have made a significant contribution. In addition, they have also secured thousands of jobs.
The Ryanair offer from Naples between flights and jobs
Ryanair, during the 5 years of activity at Capodichino Airport, has been fundamental for travelers to and from Naples.
For summer 2022 it proposes:
- 5 based aircraft;
- $ 500 million investment in the city;
- 57 routes including 12 new to Bucharest, Fuerteventura, Agadir, London, Milan, Lanzarote, Prague, Sofia, Tel Aviv, Tallin, Tenerife and Zagreb;
- More than 530 flights per week;
- More than 3.300 indirect jobs at Capodichino Airport, of which 150 are direct.
The request to eliminate the tourism tax
The company asks the Italian Government to eliminate the tourism tax, that is the municipal surcharge, in order to improve its service and have greater room for recovery and growth throughout the country.
Jason McGuinness, Ryanair's Commercial Director, said from Naples that from the summer there will be this further growth of routes and services and in recent months we have worked hard to rebuild, slowly, but steadily, the flight offer from the city.
