Flight attendants and Ryanair pilots they will join another strike which will take place within the 13 September 2018 also in Italy, therefore including also the flights that will leave and arrive to Napoli.

The precise date, however, has not yet been announced by Filt CGIL and Uiltrasporti unions who promoted it and made the decision after a meeting in Rome with the trade unions of Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Holland, Portugal and Spain.

Pilots and flight attendants claim the recognition of salary, social security and welfare rights, problems that prevent their trade union freedom. In addition, Ryanair also targets flight crews hired by foreign agencies, causing wage dumping and contravening various EU rules.

A few days ago Ryanair also signed a Collective agreement with the ANPAC, the airplane pilots union, to which the unions are opposed. For this reason they have launched a referendum with pilots on its validity.
