Prevention Saturdays at Vomero: free screenings with mammograms, Pap tests, HPV and colon-rectal kits

Prevention Saturdays are a new initiative of the Campania Region, dedicated to cancer prevention and aimed at citizens residing in the area ofASL Napoli 1 Center.

The event offers free screenings and free access until all available places are filled and will take place on 19 October 2024 in Naples, at Piazza degli Artisti, from 9:00 to 18:00. The campaign represents an important opportunity to carry out prevention tests and raise awareness among the population on the importance of taking care of one's health.

Services offered during Prevention Saturdays

During the Prevention Saturdays, health workers are available to citizens for the provision of free cancer screenings. Services include:

• Performing and booking mammography: dedicated to women aged between 45 and 69, for the prevention of breast cancer.
• Pap test and HPV test execution and booking: aimed at women aged between 25 and 64, for the prevention of cervical cancer.
• Colorectal Cancer Screening Kit Delivery: Intended for men and women aged 50 to 74.

All services are offered for free and without the need for reservations, until availability runs out.
