Friariello Festival 2025, taste and tradition in Volla

From 31 January at 2 February 2025, the municipality of Volla (NA) will host the 3rd edition of the Friariello Festival, an event dedicated to one of the most iconic products of Neapolitan cuisine. The event will take place in via San Giorgio, at square adjacent to the sports field, offering a one-of-a-kind gastronomic and cultural experience.

Who is organizing the event?

The festival is organized by theAMIP Cultural Association, Under the patronage of Municipality of Volla. Thanks to the support of local institutions and the collaboration of numerous local entities, the event stands out for its gastronomic variety and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

What do you eat at the Friariello Festival?

The gastronomic offering of the festival focuses on the friariello, the undisputed star of the event, accompanied by a selection of typical dishes from the Campania and national tradition. Among the specialties to taste:

• Friarielli and sausage, the perfect combination of Neapolitan cuisine.
• Typical regional products, with specialties from different Italian regions.
• Traditional sweets, offered by the renowned pastry shop Bella napoli.
• Wines and craft beers, to accompany each dish with the right combination.

• Friday January 31:
  • 16 hours: 00: Opening of the “Ancient Memories” stand and market.
  • 18 hours: 00: Ribbon cutting and official opening of the festival.
  • 19 hours: 00: Evening of music and entertainment with guest Franco Teramo.
  • 22 hours: 00: Closing of the first day.
• Saturday February 1:
  • 10 hours: 00: Opening of the “Ancient Memories” stand and market.
  • 11 hours: 00: The festival will start with continuous hours until 23:00 pm.
  • 19 hours: 00: Evening of folk music with the group The Madonna of Bagni Paranza.
  • 23 hours: 30: Closing of the second day.
• Sunday February 2:
  • 10 hours: 00: Opening of the “Ancient Memories” stand and market.
  • 11 hours: 00: Last day of the festival with continuous opening hours until 23pm.
  • 19 hours: 00: Evening of music with DJ Set for a fun-filled finale.
  • Show by the artist Angelo Cataldo, with a performance of monologues and songs from the Neapolitan tradition.
  • Special guest of the evening: singer Hanna DS.
