Two evenings in the heart of Irpinia, between traditional food, folk music and community spirit: the return of the Fusillo with Ciurillo Festival a San Potito Ultra (AV), in the days And July 11 12 2025The village comes alive with the 15 edition of the event, which every year attracts hundreds of enthusiasts ready to rediscover the authentic flavours of local gastronomy. From 19 hours, the town centre is transformed into an open-air taste trail.

Who organizes the festival?

The initiative was born from the commitment of a group of local volunteers, who for years have taken care of every detail to keep alive one of the most heartfelt traditions of the Irpinia summer. The festival has become a symbol of the culinary identity of San Potito Ultra, offering a concrete opportunity to promote the meeting between generations around simple and genuine dishes.

What do you eat at the festival

The absolute protagonist is the fusilli with ragù, accompanied by a menu rich in Irpinia specialties. Among the dishes offered:

• Fusilli with ragù
• Fried Ciurilli (battered courgette flowers) served in a cuoppo
• Caciocavallo 'hanged
• Grilled pork
• Homemade sweets from local housewives
• Country wine

The gastronomic offer is designed to enhance local products, with fresh raw materials and traditional preparations.

Other activities of the festival

The two evenings will be accompanied by live music, to create a cheerful and festive atmosphere. The spaces set up in the center of the town will host outdoor tables, where it will be possible to eat and socialize freely. The setting will be that of a typical village festival, where simplicity meets taste and fun involves all ages.

There will be no shortage of moments of spontaneous aggregation, popular dances and conviviality under the Irpinia stars.
