Fish Festival in Ercolano with culinary specialities, music and dance

La Herculaneum Fish Festival back for his 18ma edition, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated events of the year. Organized by “Italian Red Cross – Herculaneum Committee“, the event has become a fixed event for lovers of good food and local traditions. Every year, citizens of Ercolano and neighboring municipalities such as Greek's tower e Torre Annunziata they come together to celebrate the flavors of the sea in a convivial and festive atmosphere.

La Herculaneum Fish Festival will take place over the next few days 23-24-25-30-31 agosto e 1-6-7-8 settembre 2024, spread over three consecutive weekends. Each evening will offer the opportunity to taste culinary specialties in a context animated by music and entertainment. The activities they will begin in the late afternoon and continue until the evening, creating the perfect opportunity to spend an evening outdoors enjoying good food and company.

The culinary delights and specialties of the festival

The real star of the Herculaneum Fish Festival will, of course, be the fresh fish, cooked according to traditional recipes. Among the specialties that we will be able to taste there will be the risotto alla pescatora and the classic cuoppo of the sea, a selection of fried fish served in the characteristic paper cone. For those who prefer other flavors, there will be options such as cup of earth, montanare, zeppoline and for the little ones chips and frankfurters.

In addition to culinary delights, the evenings of Herculaneum Fish Festival will be animated by musical performances and various forms of entertainment.
